Each BA cascade cylinders contains
300 cubic feet of air at 2400 psi or 6000 psi and conforms
to DOT 3AA Specifications. Individual cylinders are
protected from over pressure by burst disc valve designed
to prevent pressure building up inside the bottle.
Cascades are fitted with high
pressure whip c/w ball valve that allows refilling of
cascade without leakage, even if it is in operation.
A high volume air regulator is mounted on the cascade
controls air in low pressure hose line manifolds that
can be set up at various points at the work site. A
low pressure warning bell alerts users that pressure
at the high side of the regulator has dropped to 500
psi or less.
