Model Series
880
Gas Detection Alarm & Control System
Detcon Model 880-R is a remote
display designed to operate in conjunction with any
Detcon Model 880 PLC based control system. The 880-R
provides all of the monitoring and display functions
of the main system controller and can be installed up
to 1000 feet remote of the main control unit. Digital
data repeaters can be added to extend this distance.
The 880-R features operator interface screens that are
identical to the main PLC control system; a main screen
with color background changes in an alarm condition,
a 4 device screen that reflects current reading and
alarm condition of individual field devices and an alarm
history screen. The remote display is equipped with
a low decibel level internal alarm with an easy touch
silence feature available. Detcon Model 880-R remote
displays can be programmed for use with any Detcon gas
detection control system including single control card
model series 10 and model series 12 designs as well
as any multi-channel system.
